heading out...

this eve i pack up the car, snacks and crafts, sweaters and bathing suits...as a mum it is just a part of life to be completely prepared....and so i am...as i leave my blooming wonderfulness...

for the desert sun and scrumptious succulents...i realize that sometimes it is so downright wonderful to just let things fall aside, the computer, phone, life in general and get down and dirty with focusing on what is right in front of moi...so, as much as i would love to just paint away the rest of the week, you will find me playing Old Maid, Uno, feeding ducks and hiking among the canyons of the desert and if you are within a few mile radius...the giggles and laughter you hear, will be mine...so here is to letting it all be...

green goodness...

since what we put into our bods is such a huge part of how we live our life and cope and feel and be and well, you get it...i thought i would share my favorite green drink recipe for those of you who care to dabble in the yumminess of health and happy feelings..because let me tell you that one glass of this will make you a happy soul indeed!

here's all you gotta do:

smile as you take

1-2 large cucumbers (if not organic, i peel em')

4-5 stalks of kale

handful of baby spinach (or 3-4 romaine leaves)

4 stalks celery

1-2 broccoli stems

1 pear

1 green apple

1" ginger root

small spoonful of softened coconut oil

juice all ingredients...

pour a big glass, relax and get ready to have a marvelous day!

speaking of marvelous days...

blooming...

it is just simply in my nature, perhaps it is the gemini in me, to deliberate over things, to ponder so long, think things into the ground, go back and forth, call it what you may...however, in keeping with this i listened to my truth and my yearning to get outside this box that has kept me...well, boxed in, regarding painting and expressing myself with brush and color. so, although i did sit on the decision for a spell, i slipped into blooming true and am quite giddy about what is to come...for there has really never been a better time for me to be brave & bloom...

this i trust completely.
