warmth, color....oh and hugging

Just to pass on a little bit of important information...

did you know that there is a 6-second factor in regards to hugging?

My desk calendar says:

'If you want to give an especially powerful hug, hold on for at least six seconds. This is the minimum time necessary to promote the flow of oxytocin and serotonin, mood-boosting chemicals that encourage bonding.'

hmmm good to know as you go into this fine weekend...may you get and give many 6-second (or longer) hugs.

here are some glimpses of the amazing artfest...first for moi, last for all...why have i not attended sooner? i cannot say, but i know i was meant to be there and that it was simply downright wonderfulness...
